Message Been posting on tech side about stuff.
Front engine leak, valve cover leak, rear main leak. Last night smoke coming from under hood, guessing oil dripping on manifold, then the temp control pod panel was fading on and off, then later in night turned on head lights didnt work, put on highs came on then turned off like they popped. Looked at alt. belt -looked wet. I figured it was slipping due to front oil leaking on it. Got it home, this morn, I tried to degrease belt(pretty much impossible) and sprayed belt dressing on it to make it tacky. It was kinda wet on the lower bottom cover, tried figuring out if it was oil or PS fluid, wasnt sure. Checked head bulbs both burned out, Im guessing the highs and drive lights are the same. Check power at headbulb sockets without car running, there was power. Put in headlight bulbs I had swaped out about 1-2 years ago. I tried to degrease the belt and ran water on it with a small hose (just getting the belt) then decided to make sure if it was oil or fluid but the water was throwing me off besides the car sits so friggin low. Drove car, temp control pod seemed to still go on and off.
Then seemed with car sitting the temp. lights stayed on o.k. but last night I was sitting parked when I turned on headlights when they popped.
Went to close by shop said they would do a alt. check friday 4pm. When I drove car home tonight (very carefully) the temp. pod lights and headlights didnt go out,not sure why, I was expecting the headlights to burn again. Now Im thinking oil or fluid might have sprayed into alt. and causing voltage regulator to bounce around, but I dont know.
Trying to decide if selling or repairing, dropped about $2,400 in it few months back and wife getting pissed.
